Job Description

Essential Functions, Duties & Responsibilities

Core duties and responsibilities include the following.

  • Analysis of performance metrics to determine ROI of existing sourcing tools, together with research and evaluation of new sourcing and recruiting tools.
  • Determine current staffing needs and producing forecasts.
  • Develop talent acquisition strategies and hiring plans.
  • In conjunction with Marketing, lead employment branding initiatives.
  • Conduct full cycle recruiting, recruit, find and retain top talent.
  • Discover talent, build a strong employment brand and ensure great relationships with both candidates and employees.
  • Perform sourcing to fill opened positions and anticipate future needs.
  • Plan and conduct recruitment and selection processes (interviews, screening calls, etc.)
  • Prepare and send offer letters, collect all required paperwork.
  • Take steps to ensure positive candidate experience.
  • Assist in employee retention and development.
  • Supervise recruiting personnel (as applicable).
  • Organize and/or attend career fairs, assessment centers or other events.
  • Special Projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Include demonstrated competencies and physical, mental, & interpersonal skills.

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Human Resources or Business Administration, or related curriculum.
  • 1+ years’ experience in recruiting.
  • Experience in full-cycle recruiting (preferably experience with paraprofessionals/ special needs children), sourcing and employment branding.
  • Understanding of all selection methods and techniques.
  • Proficient in the use of social media and job boards.
  • Willingness to understand the duties and competencies of different roles.
  • Working knowledge of Applicant tracking Systems (ATS) and databases.
  • Must be able to appropriately handle confidential and sensitive information. Experience handling such information is required.
  • Demonstrated initiative, judgment and an understanding of organization and business processes; as well as strong interpersonal skills required.
  • Must have a high level of initiative and be able to work effectively without constant, direct supervisor.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, execute on deadlines and produce high-quality deliverables with attention to details.
  • Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Reliable transportation and the ability to travel as needed.
  • Strong verbal, written communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products.
