Job Description
Essential Functions, Duties & ResponsibilitiesCore duties and responsibilities include the following.
- Analysis of performance metrics to determine ROI of existing sourcing tools, together with research and evaluation of new sourcing and recruiting tools.
- Determine current staffing needs and producing forecasts.
- Develop talent acquisition strategies and hiring plans.
- In conjunction with Marketing, lead employment branding initiatives.
- Conduct full cycle recruiting, recruit, find and retain top talent.
- Discover talent, build a strong employment brand and ensure great relationships with both candidates and employees.
- Perform sourcing to fill opened positions and anticipate future needs.
- Plan and conduct recruitment and selection processes (interviews, screening calls, etc.)
- Prepare and send offer letters, collect all required paperwork.
- Take steps to ensure positive candidate experience.
- Assist in employee retention and development.
- Supervise recruiting personnel (as applicable).
- Organize and/or attend career fairs, assessment centers or other events.
- Special Projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Include demonstrated competencies and physical, mental, & interpersonal skills.- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Human Resources or Business Administration, or related curriculum.
- 1+ years’ experience in recruiting.
- Experience in full-cycle recruiting (preferably experience with paraprofessionals/ special needs children), sourcing and employment branding.
- Understanding of all selection methods and techniques.
- Proficient in the use of social media and job boards.
- Willingness to understand the duties and competencies of different roles.
- Working knowledge of Applicant tracking Systems (ATS) and databases.
- Must be able to appropriately handle confidential and sensitive information. Experience handling such information is required.
- Demonstrated initiative, judgment and an understanding of organization and business processes; as well as strong interpersonal skills required.
- Must have a high level of initiative and be able to work effectively without constant, direct supervisor.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, execute on deadlines and produce high-quality deliverables with attention to details.
- Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to travel as needed.
- Strong verbal, written communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products.
