A Technology Strategy Analyst will:
  • Understand Aon's business and revenue model, and how technology can support business objectives. Work with the Senior Strategy Consultant to assist Aon's IT organization with converting corporate strategy into technology strategy.
  • General understanding of broad technology strategy (e.g. services, technology trends).
  • Ability to present initial thoughts and acquire feedback to support the Sr. Strategy Consultant to generate wide scale strategic alignment across multiple teams.
  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communications.
  • Demonstrate strong presentation skills including ability to synthesize information and bring a message forward.
  • Assist to inspire change management in order to socialize and gain acceptance of strategic direction.
  • Support the Sr. Strategy Consultant to develop a communications plan to ensure that all leaders and colleagues are advised on the technology strategy.
  • Assist in the development of practical roadmaps that support the enabling of technology transformation.
  • Contribute to implementing processes to measure progress against the strategy.
  • Build strategic progress reports for the CIO.

You Bring Knowledge and Expertise:
  • Strong analytical abilities.
  • Ability to collect, model, and analyze data.
  • Proficiency in excel.
  • Expertise in PowerPoint and the ability to produce PowerPoint presentations with minimal assistance.
  • Experience working with a global, team with multifaceted strengths.
  • Ability to learn and tackle sophisticated problems.
  • Ability to work with and build professional relationships with multiple stakeholders.
  • Performs well under pressure, on multiple priorities, and with tight deadlines.
  • Solid understanding of how IT departments work with and relate to corporate departments.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 3+ years of meaningful experience.
  • Experience in technology strategy and corporate strategy preferred.
  • Consulting experience preferred.
  • Insurance experience preferred.
The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $85,000 annually. This salary range is an estimate and the actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location. This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans. The amount of the incentive varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
