Territory Representative

Join Ecolab’s sales team as aTerritoryRepresentative. Within our industry leading Institutional division, thisopportunityoffers comprehensive chemical products and solutions to meet the needs of customers across the foodservice and hospitality industries. After completing an initial training program, you will be assigned to an established territory of customers including restaurants, hotels, schools, long-term care facilities, and more. You will serve as the face of Ecolab, providing recommendations on advanced cleaning and sanitation programs and solutionsthat drive a positive guest experience and create cleaner, safer, and healthier environments.

What You Will Do:

• Communicate our total value to the customer and grow sales within an existing route of food service and hospitality accounts

• Repairandperform preventative maintenance and assist in the installation of equipment and solutions  

• As an expert on advanced cleaning and sanitation processes, leverage technology to recommend unique programs and solutions to customers

• Provide emergency service to existing customers 

• Demonstrate safe equipment use, ensuring that your customers’ operations arefully functional,and teams are properly trained   

• Manage equipment, parts, and inventory to control costs

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diplomaor GED

• 1 year of sales or mechanical service experience

• Availability to provide emergency call assistance which may occur at night, on weekends and over holidays 

• Currently in safe driver status

• No Immigration Sponsorship available

Physical Demands:

• Ability to complete pre-employment assessments including a physical, lift and/orcarry75pounds, color vision test and drug screen

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate degree

• Previous mechanical problem-solving experience (e.g. plumbing, electrical, HVAC and/or mechanical experience) in industries related to food service, laundry, housekeeping, hospitality and/or pool and spa
