Test Engineer - Wireless Networking

Swoon is seeking a Wireless Testing Engineer for our leading medical device client in Round Lake, IL! This is a six month contract with benefits (medical/dental/vision insurance) and very likely extension. Are you ready to be Swoon'd?! See below and apply now! Responsibilities:

• Develop test methods and perform testing to evaluate the wireless networking (802.11) performance of medical devices (infusion pumps and patient monitors)
• Work on Spectrum and fusion pump look ups, as well as testing on nest software updates.
• Work on improvements in wireless network capacities
• Will be writing test methods independently.
• Will have oversight from SMEs (Subject Matter Experts).
• Configuration of wireless networking equipment, including WPA-Enterprise security modes such as PEAP-MSCHAPv2 and EAP-TLS.
• Work within a medical device quality system, documenting testing protocols and results per Good Documentation Practices (GDP).

• Engineering or Technical degree
• Experience with Cisco and/or Aruba Wireless Network configuration
• Experience with software testing in a regulated environment
