Position Summary:Promotes and implements trade compliance policy and global initiatives, monitors import and export activities, and ensures adherence to all the applicable U.S and U.S laws and regulations. Provides experienced business and technical systems analysis development and systems support efforts for mission critical business processes and business applications, including, but not limited to trade compliance. Works to improve the business by addressing problems and opportunities through improved business process and enterprise applications.Duties and Responsibilities:The following reflects essential functions for the job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. It is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as the company may deem necessary.Provide guidance on the incorporation of trade compliance requirements into the company's business processes(supply chain, purchasing, customer service, sales,warranty, finance, and accounting)Evaluate,implement and maintain import and export policies, procedures and manuals compliant with US Customs regulations and HydraForce policiesDevelop materials for, and participate in training on import and export regulations and policies.Promote a culture of trade compliance throughout HydraForce through training and awareness across various business departmentsTrain, consult with, and advice employees through assessments and audits of HydraForce business. Identify red flags within business process and develop IT applications to solve issues related to compliance and process efficiencyMaintain and direct HydraForce Free Trade Agreement(FTA) ProgramReview HydraForce products family for impact of regulations such as Export Administration Regulations(EAR), the International Traffic in Arms Regulations(ITAR), and Customs and Border Protection regulationsMaintain Duty Drawback Program, working with Brokerage partners and Drawback providersWork with Purchasing to identify opportunities and determine product eligibility for trade preference programs, as well as non-preference origin reporting requirementsSupervisory Responsibilities:Supervises Trade Compliance Team (2 Exempt level Associates)
