AON has an immediate need for a Transformation Director to join the team.
Transformation Director will work across solution lines and geographies as part of Aon Business Services teams to develop, track and support execution of global operational initiatives.The role supports development and execution of global strategies, including (1) completing opportunity, gap analyses, process mapping, and requirement definitions for transformative initiatives, (2) analyzing initiatives to support Aon's strategic goals into a prioritized multi-year roadmap, and (3) adherence to program governance, tracking and reporting on progress, and supporting other execution activities 4) provide consistent performance metrics across initiatives, resourcing, client service metrics for global operations. Role will collaborate across regions, solution lines, and functional SMEs to influence and drive progress against the global agenda.Duties and Responsibilities- Identify, evaluate and support implementation of plans to grow, improve, standardize, and automate operations. Including by:
- Developing implementation plans
- Identifying risks and key considerations
- Supporting priority global initiative execution and change management
- Creating management reporting, tracking progress, and gathering stakeholder feedback
- Manage execution of strategic projects and key initiatives, including creating roadmaps, tracking dependencies, monitoring/tracking progress, etc.
- Conducting detailed analyses across global topics
- Helping manage governance forums and councils - developing agendas, consolidating materials, tracking/execution of action items
- Leading multiple change/acceleration teams simultaneously across geographies
- Support Global Initiatives by:
- Conducting interviews and documenting feedback and consistent themes
- Identifying and gather benchmark data, interpret, and execute analyses
- Presenting findings and recommendations to team members
- Supporting roadmap prioritization, process mapping, and operating model design
- Preparing stakeholder communications
- Tracking progress against agreed-upon milestones
- Tracking domain expertise by region and solution line.
- Participating in projects of a global nature with calls/meetings (frequent at times) occurring outside of normal business hours. These meetings are generally scheduled in advance.
- Traveling globally (post pandemic)
- University degree, preferably in a finance or business-related discipline
- 7-10 years of work experience, preferred in an operations role, change management role, or continuous improvement role
- Foundational understanding of Aon's product lines - including industry practices, competitors
- Keen eye for emerging trends
- Proven experience in applying well-developed problem-solving skills (quantitative, conceptual, analytical)
- Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (particularly in Excel and PowerPoint)
- Ability to identify opportunities for growth and subsequently take a leadership role in exploring new ideas
- Strong work ethic, open-mindedness, and willingness to learn
