A global leader in the retail pharmacy and wellness market is focused on offering their customers groundbreaking solutions to expand offerings and become the health and well-being partner of choice. This contract role as a UX/UI Designer in Deerfield, IL is responsible to design software applications to support complex workflows, to visualize large datasets, or to operate system-level tools. Responsibilities: Provide user interface design services. Collaborate with product development stakeholders (e.g., product and technical managers, UX designers, technical writers, developers, and end-users) to deliver new products and enhancements. Looking for a mid- to high-level UI Designer on our Mobile team. Not just visual, but solving functionality flows, thinking about transactions and how customers are interacting with that; how it looks visually and measures up to entire brand a little bit of both sides (both UX and UI) Design website and mobile app. Team is primarily focused on UI design for Native Flagship App Support digital roadmaps across many lines of business and support App specific maintenance. Multiple phases within program, add functionality into app, working with UX designer to build that out. Working alongside other UX/UI designers on team, with opportunities to stretch across channels (Omni-channel initiative) Working with copywriter to review design proposals Partner tightly with business analysts that fall under App Product Team, Development Team Requirements: Bachelor's degree in design required Masters degree in Human Computer Interaction is preferred, but not required. Must have 3-5 years of experience designing digital experiences that have retail / ecommerce customers as the primary user Wire-framing and building interactive digital prototypes Mobile Platforms Android and iOS (design guidelines, understand at high level) Design Workflow tools (in change period, current set is broad Sketch, Zeppelin, Envision, Adobe Cloud but looking to migrate into new platform called Figma) Translating within specific design systems for branding/UI taking guidelines and creating transactional flows Visual design skills Strong skills in persuading others, strong customer first focus Preferred Job Requirements: Good interpersonal skills Enthusiastic about the challenges of solving digital problems Strong team leadership skills Benefits: Solving IT is pleased to offer a rich benefit plan to our W2 employees.
