Warehouse Receiving Associate

Our client, a leading distribution company, is seeking a General Warehouse Associate to join their team. As a General Warehouse Associate, you will be part of the Receiving team supporting the warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and have a positive attitude that aligns with the organization's values.Job Title: General Warehouse AssociateLocation: Mount Vernon, ILPay Range: $17 per hourWhat's the Job?

Receiving, scanning, picking, packing, auditing, and shipping merchandise to the customer

Tracking all inbound and outbound items through radio frequency (RF) scanning to ensure accountability in inventory

Verifying orders and ensuring entry into the inventory management system

Operating a clean and safe work environment, ensuring that all areas of the warehouse are well maintained, kept orderly, and free of debris

Maintaining quality standards set forth by warehouse management

What's Needed?

Ability to stand for at least 8 hours with or without reasonable accommodation

Ability to perform tasks which include pushing, pulling, grasping, and lifting with or without reasonable accommodation

Ability to carry up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation

High School Diploma/GED and at least 2 years experience in a warehouse or distribution center preferred
