Wash Shed Assistant Job Description

Process and store harvested vegetables using food-safe handling practices and FIFO system.

Bag, pack, and label orders for market, CSA, and wholesale.

Stock and assist with inventory management at our farm stand.

Cashier occasionally.

You must be able to

Lift 50lbs

Stand for long periods.

Follow safe food protocol.

Take direction and pivot when needed.

Handle money and have good customer service skills.

Work well both on a team and on solo projects.

Seasonal Employment starts April 30th and goes through the end of Oct.

Roughly 35 hours per week. Mon & Tues, Thurs & Fri. Farmers Market days are possible as well.

Wages to be negotiated.
