WelderJob DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welding and custom fabricating on shell and tube heat exchangers, ASME Pressure Vessels, and Tanks up to 15’ in diameter, 120 feet in length, and up to 320,000 pounds. This role involves MIG flux-core welding on a variety of stainless, carbon, and precious metals, as well as code welding and blueprint reading.Responsibilities
Perform welding to custom fabricate products.
Weld on shell and tube heat exchangers, ASME Pressure Vessels, and tanks.
Utilize MIG flux-core welding on various metals.
Conduct 045 wire welding.
Perform TIG welding if trained.
Execute fitting tasks if trained.
Adhere to code welding standards.
Read and interpret blueprints.
Essential Skills
Proficient in welding fabricated heat exchangers, pressure vessels, and tanks.
Experience in fabricating steel products.
Skilled in reading blueprints and weld symbols.
Knowledge of ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code, Section VIII, Division 1 is a plus.
Ability to layout and fabricate products.
Physical capability to lift 50+ lbs.
Comfortable working at heights of 15-20 feet.
