Knapheide Manufacturing MIG Welders - 2nd & 3rd Shift FULL-TIME $19.20/hr 1848 Westphalia Strasse, Quincy, IL 62305 MIG Welders will be responsible for assembling product, welding, cosmetic grinding, blueprint reading. Starting wage can vary based on experience-level. - Inspect Materials: Examine products, objects, or materials for quality and accuracy. - Analyze Data: Interpret and evaluate information or data effectively. - Perform Basic Math: Conduct simple counting, addition, and subtraction tasks. - Follow Instructions: Understand and adhere to basic instructions, safety rules, and office memoranda. All employees must work safely, produce high-quality products, meet output goals, and have a good attendance record. Employees are expected to follow safety and general plant rules at all times. Schedule - Shift start: 2:00PM or 10:00PM - Shift length: 8 hours - Days: Monday-Friday; typically 2-3 Saturdays monthly Benefits - Health, dental, vision insurance available after 90 days - Paid time off - 401k Requirements - Experience with MIG welding - Strong Mechanical Aptitude - Collaborate well in team activities. - Meet tight deadlines and handle urgent tasks. - Maintain focus despite distractions. - Pay attention to detail in dynamic situations. - Take responsibility for equipment and work quality. - Work independently with minimal supervision. - Reliable and predictable attendance. - Ability to stand for a full 8-hour shift. - Proficiency in reading blueprints. - Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic shop math. - Skills in welding and grinding. - Competence in using hoists and lift tables. - Basic computer skills and familiarity with shop controls. - Must be at least 17+ years old - Must pass drug screen (cannabis excluded) - Must pass background check - Can lift 50 lbs About Knapheide Manufacturing Since 1848, Knapheide has provided customers with high quality, work-ready transportation solutions.
