Accounting Manager

Description Our client, a manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced Interim Accounting Manager. The successful candidate will oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliations, and tax audits. Responsibilities: Managing daily operations of the accounting department. Producing financial reports and analyzing accounting data. Enforcing proper accounting methods, policies and principles. Coordinating and completing annual audits. Contributing to department’s goal setting process. Supporting month-end and year-end close process. Strengthening internal controls by developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies. Require a standard 40-hour work week in an office environment. Occasional overtime may be necessary. Requirements Requirements: Proven experience as an Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor or Finance Manager. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, accounting software and databases. Attention to detail and accuracy. BSc in Accounting or Finance. Advanced degree or CPA/CMA is a plus.
