Description We are in search of a detail-oriented and results-driven Accounts Receivable Manager to become an integral part of our team. You will take charge of managing and streamlining the accounts receivable processes in our healthcare industry setting. This role involves a wide range of responsibilities, from generating invoices to managing insurance claims and ensuring regulatory compliance. Job Description:The Accounts Receivable/Billing Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating the operations and procedures of the billing department. The manager will handle all aspects of billing and accounts receivable, ensuring that all our healthcare services are billed accurately and in a timely manner.Responsibilities:

Oversee, organize, and manage the operations and functions of the accounts receivable and billing department.

Implement and enforce firm billing practices and conduct regular billing audits.

Manage patient billing inquiries and resolve any issues or disputes.

Coordinate with insurance companies and healthcare providers for claim submissions, follow-ups and solve discrepancies.

Ensure timely and accurate submission of all invoices and medical claims.

Maintain accurate records of all billing processes and accounts receivable.

Regularly review and updates billing codes and fee schedules.

Oversee and manage the collections process.

Develop and implement strategies to maximize collections, reduce time in accounts receivable, and ensure prompt and accurate billing.

Generate and interpret financial reports to monitor the performance and effectiveness of billing activities.

Evaluate staff performance, provide training, guidance and feedback to ensure efficient operation of the department.

Stay current with changing healthcare regulations, medical coding updates and billing trends.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Proven experience in healthcare billing and accounts receivable, preferably in a managerial or supervisory role.

Comprehensive knowledge of medical billing practices, medical terminology, billing codes, and insurance procedures.

Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and billing software.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

The ability to interpret and analyze financial data.

Familiarity with healthcare law and regulations pertaining to billing.

Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounts receivable supervisor or manager role
