About Indiana Finance Authority (IFA): The Indiana Finance Authority oversees state-related debt issuance and provides efficient and effective financing solutions to facilitate state, local government, and business investment in Indiana. IFA enables the State of Indiana to communicate as one voice with the various participants in the financial markets: 1) the Indiana Development Finance Authority, 2) the State Office Building Commission, 3) the Indiana Transportation Finance Authority, the 4) Recreational Development Commission, the 5) State Revolving Fund Programs, 6) the Indiana Brownfields Program, and 7) Indiana Health and Educational Facilities Finance Authority. Role Overview: This position will work from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. This postion be who greets and checks in anyone coming into the office. They will also be in charge of answering and screening phone calls. Salary Statement: The salary for this position traditionally starts at $49,000.00 but may be commensurate with education or work experience. A Day in the Life:

Must be able to work from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Greet and screen visitors for 9th Floor

Answer and screen telephone calls for IFA, Office of Energy Development, Board for Depositories and Indiana Education Savings Authority; respond to routine inquiries and/or make appropriate referrals.

Make updates and changes to the IFA website

Prepare monthly payment notices for State Revolving Fund

Price and order office supplies as necessary

Coordinate scheduling of conference rooms

Arrange meetings and order lunch when necessary

Print and distribute monthly IFA Board Packets

Maintain front desk Procedure Manual

Send faxes for staff members when requested

Make copies as requested

Appropriately distribute incoming mail and other materials for all agencies on the floor

Deliver items as requested within walking distance

Post and mail meeting notices and agendas as requested for meetings

Schedule meetings and conferences for staff

Serve as key operator of all office machines, including performance of routine upkeep, i.e.

adding toner/paper to copy and fax machines

Perform other secretarial duties and related tasks as required

What You'll Need for Success:

High school diploma

Office experience or accredited training preferred

Highly organized – able to handle multiple tasks

Experience with Microsoft Word, Power Point, Outlook, Excel and Adobe Pro

Typing skills – minimum 50 wpm

Knowledge of office machines

Above average clerical skill; knowledge of English grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting

Good interpersonal relationship skills; ability to communicate with persons of all educational

and social backgrounds

Ability to exercise independent judgment within established guidelines and procedures
