Cost Manager Lead - Manufacturing Construction

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Associate Director – Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor to lead cost management services for a key technology client engaged in the expansion of high-tech manufacturing facilities. This role is part of one of the most impactful capital programs in the region and offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-value construction projects that are shaping the future of advanced manufacturing.As a senior leader, you will be responsible for managing client relationships, overseeing project delivery, and guiding a team of cost professionals to ensure excellence in service and outcomes.

 Responsibilities: Lead cost management services across one or more major client accounts.Act as the primary client interface, ensuring alignment with client goals and expectations.Provide strategic oversight of cost planning, estimating, change management, and reporting.Manage and mentor a team of cost managers and quantity surveyors, fostering growth and performance.Oversee commercial management throughout the project lifecycle, including procurement strategy, contract negotiation, and final account settlement.Drive consistency and quality in service delivery using Turner & Townsend’s best practices and tools.Identify opportunities for process improvement, innovation, and value engineering.Support business development efforts, including proposal writing and client presentations.Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including contractors, consultants, and client leadership.Ensure compliance with internal systems, financial controls, and SOX requirements (where applicable).Represent Turner & Townsend at industry events and contribute to knowledge sharing and team development.SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.
