Credit Clerk

Description We are in search of a meticulous Credit Clerk to be part of our team, based in INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana. The role revolves around processing customer credit applications, maintaining accurate customer credit records, and resolving customer credit inquiries in the telecom industry. You will also be tasked with monitoring customer credit accounts and taking appropriate action to collect delinquent payments. Responsibilities: Process customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency Maintain precise records of customer credit Handle customer credit inquiries and provide appropriate resolutions Monitor customer credit accounts regularly Take action on delinquent payments to ensure timely collection Review payment requests to ensure all requirements are received before processing Process all payments and transfers among bank accounts, including wire and EFT - Electronic Funds Transfer Review and process bank exceptions for positive pay Assist with research and account reconciliation Use Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis Requirements Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to create and manage complex spreadsheets Strong understanding of Wire Transfer processes and procedures Knowledge of EFT - Electronic Funds Transfer and its implementation Familiarity with credit processes and principles, with a focus on accuracy and detail Excellent organizational and time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to interact with various clients and team members Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure High level of integrity and confidentiality when dealing with sensitive financial information Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field is desirable.
