Job Description

Position Summary

This strategic leader is responsible for product planning, execution, and lifecycle management for the portfolio of premium brands at MasterBrand Cabinets. This role ensures revenue, profitability, quality, and customer satisfaction goals are met by working closely with Operations, Engineering, Sourcing, Marketing, Customer Service, Finance, and Sales teams to define and implement the product roadmaps and drive efficiencies. Reporting to the Director, Product is a small team of Product Managers and Analysts in multiple locations.

Organizational Relationship

Position reports directly to the Leader of Product, Customer Service & Marketing.

Accountabilities

  • Translate business strategies into product strategies that meet financial targets and customer expectations
  • Ensure Product Management represents the Voice of the Customer and provides compelling solutions
  • Develop and introduce new products on time (speed to market) with an eye for design in manufacturing
  • Partner with Marketing to establish product positioning and develop messaging, sales tools, and collateral
  • Manage and adapt product pricing to ensure competitiveness in a very dynamic market
  • Rationalize product lines to drive synergies while maintaining individual brand value propositions
  • Work closely with the Sourcing team and key vendors to develop and execute supply chain strategies
  • Audit competitors and market segments to gather data that enables informed product decisions
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts to improve productivity and output by leveraging lean and 80/20 tools
  • Successfully manage projects end-to-end while ensuring MBCI goals are met
  • Present the product vision and roadmap to executive audiences and Sales teams
  • Effectively lead and develop a geographically dispersed product team
  • Build and develop strong partnerships with business stakeholders throughout the organization but especially with Sales and at the manufacturing sites
  • Ability to travel as required, including internationally; estimated travel is approximately 25%
  • Other duties as assigned including participation on a project team outside of primary scope

Qualifications

Experience & Education

  • Bachelor’s-level degree in Marketing, Engineering, or another relevant field; Finance background is a strong plus
  • Minimum of 7 years relevant experience
  • Lean and/or 80/20 experience is a strong plus
  • Demonstrated go-to-market success launching products and growing sales
  • Experience managing projects including financials and driving profitability
  • Proven success leading a team and fostering cross functional relationships
  • Intimate knowledge of the market including styles, trends, design process, and customer preferences
