Summary:
The Division Procurement Specialist is responsible for executing sourcing strategies, managing and improving in-stock fill rates by monitoring inventory levels, and adjusting replenishment settings for assigned vendors and regional distribution networks within assigned Division. This role involves reviewing, adjusting, and executing daily recommended replenishment orders, expediting open purchase orders (POs), and managing cost, quantity, and defective issues with vendors.
What You'll Do:Review and release strategic and scheduled stock inventory buys for assigned vendors and branches for assigned DivisionReview and manage unproductive inventory, utilizing excess/dead inventory when possible and streamlining returns to assigned vendorsMonitor inventory levels and adjust replenishment settings to maintain optimal stock levelsMonitor cost for assigned vendors and report opportunities to Division procurement leadership teamDrive digital adoption with assigned vendorsExpedite open POs and resolve any issues related to cost, quantity, and defects with vendorsAct as a liaison between the regional commercial team, the supplier relations team, and the procurement organization to ensure procurement strategies are aligned with national and regional commercial strategiesConsistently display a customer service attitude toward the Branch's/DC's and develop a rapport with all Branch/DC and sales associatesProvide feedback and participate in inventory reviews with branch managers for assigned branches twice a yearCollaborate with various departments, including marketing, IT, and customer service, to ensure seamless operationsOther duties as assigned
