About the Role

HG Metals is seeking a dependable driver to join our team. The driver will be responsible for transporting steel materials and equipment safely and on time to jobsites, vendors, and clients. This position plays a vital role in ensuring timely deliveries and supporting our shop and field crews.

Responsibilities

Safely operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up steel, tools, and materials.

Secure loads properly to ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Maintain delivery schedule and communicate effectively with dispatch and project managers.

Assist with loading and unloading materials when required.

Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.

Follow all DOT, company, and OSHA safety requirements.

Qualifications

Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required).

Clean driving record.

Experience driving flatbed or large company trucks.

Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs.

Dependable, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented.

Familiarity with local and regional routes is a plus.
