Grow. with us.To save time applying, Toyota does not offer sponsorship of job applicants for employment-based visas or any other work authorization for this position at this time.Who we’re looking forToyota’s Final Assembly Production Engineering Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Engineer-Assembly Equipment.The primary responsibility of this role is to support in development and implementation of new model preparation at NAMC (North America Manufacturing Centers) sites.The person in this role will support the Production Engineering Assembly department's objective to support Assembly Process and Equipment Development for new model launch, refurbishment and Kaizen.What you’ll be doing

(10%) Project Planning for upcoming model changes

(20%) Simultaneous Engineering for assembly of vehicle with TMC & TTC

(70%) Project Management over process setup & equipment procurement

Close collaboration between both internal and external groups across Toyota including NAMCs, TMC, TTC, PE support shops, & Plano divisions

What you bring

Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering or 4+ years of equivalent professional experience in an Assembly Engineering

Experience in Production Engineering or Manufacturing Preparation as a Toyota Team Member or Contractor working directly for Toyota

Experience with Equipment Sourcing and Installation as a Toyota Team Member or Contractor working directly for Toyota

Experience with 3D modeling and prototype part printing

Ability to work up to 20% overtime when required, including travel up to 50%, both domestic and international

What you may bring

Experience with 1 or more new model launch preparations

Assembly Production Engineering experience

Equipment Controls experience

Completion of TBP through panel (Toyota Team Members only)
