Engineering Project Manager

Job Title: Engineering Project ManagerJob DescriptionLead a cross-functional team to execute Distribution projects from inception through design and engineering completion. Manage projects for schedule adherence, identifying risks and requirements to successfully achieve a project’s in-service date. Navigate projects through client gate approval processes, including presentations and executive management as required by each client. Manage projects for financial adherence, maintaining an accurate cost forecast reflecting committed and uncommitted costs for an estimate-at-completion. Provide regular status updates on projects by maintaining project data and routine reporting as well as meeting updates for clients. Lead project meetings with cost, schedule, real estate, environmental, construction, and engineering resources to facilitate project execution.Responsibilities

Essential Skills

5+ years as Distribution Engineer

Prior experience supporting energy projects

Experience with Bentley Open Utility Designer software and Pole Foreman

Previous experience in leading a team of designers

Organizational and analytical skills to manage workload, provide status updates, and assist with invoicing

Willingness to work in office to help train other designers with a hybrid schedule option

Great communication and interpersonal skills

Work EnvironmentWill accommodate a flexible schedule with an emphasis on being onsite. The work culture is small office, close-knit, and quiet. The hours are primarily 1st shift, Monday to Friday, with flexible time but generally expect 8 AM to 5 PM.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
