Job DescriptionThis position will be a company driver position for the Ramsey Feed mill. This position will deliver poultry feed to contract breeder farms utilizing company owned tractor and bulk feed delivery trailer. Driver will also handle urgent broiler feed deliveries and be trained as the back up for the Feed pick-up driver.Job RequirementsRequirements- Must be a licensed Class A CDL driver with and active DOT health card. One year of qualified driving experience required to be qualified for this position. Driver must have a clean driving record, as an MVR is required prior to employment and must comply with current drug testing requirements. Driver must be able to learn and utilize the electronic logging system, and understand that drive cam technology is utilized on all company equipment. Ideal candidate will have experience in rural driving conditions, and must be able to perform duties in inclement weather year around.Job requires multiple stops per day, operating feed boom and auger equipment, and safety awareness in a farm environment at all times. Phone usage is prohibited any time the vehicle is in motion over the road or on the farm. Driver must be able to operate equipment in a safe manner and verified with a driving test upon hire.
