Role Description: The

Field Service Technician II must have at least 3+ years of experience. This family is responsible for performing customer support activities involving the installation, modification, and repair of complex equipment and systems.

Responsibilities: - Conducts on-site installation and testing of equipment to ensure proper working order. - Isolates equipment start-up malfunctions and takes corrective action. - Prepares daily logs and reports work performed. (It should be understood that this is not intended to be a detailed nor comprehensive description of any individual employee's job content. Managers set the specific duties and responsibilities for each employee.) -

Scope: Performs predetermined work assignments with detailed instructions. Follows established guidelines, procedures and policies. -

Problem Complexity: Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature where ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required. -

Impact: Contributions are usually limited to assignment related activities. Decisions or failure to achieve results may cause minor delays in schedules. -

Liaison: Interacts daily with supervisor, peer groups, and customers. Interaction normally involves exchanges or presentation of factual information. -

Freedom to Act: Work is closely managed. Follows specific, outlined, and detailed procedures.

Typical Education and Experience: - High School education or equivalent and 3+ years of related experience.

Leadership and Management: Knowledge/Skills and Ability: - Having general knowledge and experience. Ability to use common sense to carry out relatively basic instructions and activities.

Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent

Experience: Minimum 3+ years of experience

Relocation: This position will not cover relocation expenses

Travel: 75% Travel Required

Local Preferred: Yes
