This is a hybrid, full time position. This position is responsible for managing raw material costs including Purchase Price Variance forecasting, reporting and analysis. It also coordinates the annual material standard setting process with Finance.The Financial Analyst, Procurement is a member of the Procurement team responsible for driving material savings objectives and partners with Finance for forecasting and reporting.Key Responsibilities:Prepares monthly Purchase Price Variance forecasts for the Indianapolis location and assists in global PPV forecasting. Partners with Commodity Managers to identify and analyze PPV trends and opportunities

Provides ongoing analysis of PPV identifying major PPV drivers and tracking PPV savings by project

Is the PPV/cost expert for Procurement including understanding foreign currency exchange impact and issues, unit of measure conversion, project savings and cost changes.

Reviews Invoice Price Variance and assists in resolving invoice issues and correcting list prices.

Coordinates annual standard setting process for raw material with Finance. Assists in preparing files to be reviewed by the Commodity Managers and in providing guidance. Reviews data with Commodity Managers to ensure all Finance guidelines are adhered to. Analyzes the year-over-year standard to standard impact to material cost.

Updates standards for purchased Finished Goods partnering with Finance and the Commodity Managers to determine the costs and analyze the impact.

Assist with special projects as required.

Requirements:B.S. in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration or similar field required; MBA, CMA or CPA a plus.

3-5 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting with increasing levels of responsibility and emphasis on forecasting, planning and analysis.

Demonstrated skills in preparing forecasts and producing accurate financial and operational metrics.

Cost accounting knowledge and familiarity with Oracle manufacturing systems is desired.

Detail oriented with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects and complete assignments quickly and accurately.

Strong to advanced MS Excel skills (financial modeling, pivot tables etc.) as well as proficiency with other Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint) required.
