Description We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented HR Assistant to support the Human Resources team in various administrative and operational tasks. This role is crucial in assisting with HR functions, ensuring smooth daily operations, and contributing to a positive work environment. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in HR processes, excellent organizational skills, and a strong commitment to confidentiality and accuracy. This long-term contract/contract-to-hire opportunity is located in the Indianapolis, IN area.Job Description:

Administrative Support: Assist with the onboarding process, including preparing new hire paperwork, scheduling orientation, and conducting initial employee screenings.

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate employee records, including personal details, attendance, and benefits information, and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

Recruitment Assistance: Support recruitment efforts by scheduling interviews, coordinating with candidates, and managing job postings.

Employee Relations: Address basic employee inquiries related to HR policies, procedures, and benefits; provide support in resolving employee issues or concerns.

HR Projects: Assist with various HR projects and initiatives, such as employee surveys, training programs, and performance reviews.

Requirements

Education: Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.Experience: Previous experience in an HR or administrative role is a plus, but not required.Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with HR software or databases is a plus.Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with employees and management.Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to handle confidential information discreetly.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
