Job Summary: The Operations and Supply Chain organization has an opportunity for a Supplier Engineer to join Raytheon’s international team. This role is involved in all aspects of planning and executing the production of a wide range of weapon systems, from tactical missiles to strategic defense products. The Supplier Engineer will provide technical knowledge & process expertise to support improvements in supplier performance. You will be involved in all phases of product life cycles, beginning with proposal development, new product development, advanced manufacturing initiatives and production execution. This position focuses on meeting emerging needs, with an initial emphasis on the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region (mainly Saudi Arabia & United Arab Emirates) and some European countries (such as Poland, Romania …etc.).What You Will Do:

Communicate and translate the technical data package to suppliers according to Global Trade requirements.

Lead and conduct supplier engagements related to capability, capacity, opportunity and risk.

Perform technical evaluations in support of cost and price analysis.

Lead evaluations of supplier requests for product and process changes.

Manage product non-conformances, and drive root cause investigation and corrective action.

Prioritize and execute improvement opportunities.

Communicate the technical health of suppliers to stakeholders.

Support international and/or domestic travel as needed.

Ensure product and process capability across the supplier’s value stream.

Identify and mitigate risks within the supplier’s manufacturing and quality systems.

Manage supplier requests for product and process changes.

Define, communicate, and verify configuration requirements.

Collaborate with “EOSQP” (Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and the Programs) to drive supplier performance to goals.

Actively participate in program / engineering reviews and change boards.

Ensure technical and cost/schedule rigor is followed.

Manage EXIM RGEMS requests for technical transfers, license health checks, and EXIM training compliance.

Domestic and international travel not to exceed 25%.

The individual selected for this role may work remote to support business hours of various international suppliers. The individual is required to work within the United States (excluding U.S. Territories).Qualifications You Must Have:

Minimum 8 years experience as a supplier engineer or similar job role.

Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer:

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.

International customer and/or supplier experience.

Experience with engineering interpretation of technical documentation.

Experience working with international suppliers.

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
