With a deep technical and business understanding, working across all therapeutic areas/disease states, we design and implement digital solutions to power our business, creating best-in-class customer engagements that improve patient outcomes and deliver business results. Key to creating those experiences is the data we collect, analyze, and translate into insights. We're on an exciting journey to build a consumer data foundation and transform the business through innovation.What You'll Be DoingThis role located at our corporate headquarters in Indianapolis, IN will be hands-on to lead delivery of consumer data foundation (including first party data). The ideal candidate will have a passion for the consumer data technology landscape and will be ready to thrive in an organization with a "start-up" mentality.How You'll SucceedAs part of the Consumer Data and Innovation team, you will lead development of data-centric solutions to be used by consumer analytics and market research business teams. This will require:- Understanding business requirements and effectively translates business needs and process into technical requirements, and vice versa
- Collaborating with internal customers to develop data products & analyses that lead to useful insights
- Working with data from multiple internal and external data sources to create integrated views to be used in driving decisions
- Developing expertise of processes and data used by the consumer analytics business functions
- Ensuring solutions adhere to quality, compliance, Protect Lilly, and Data Usage requirements
- Passion for data & analytics, especially consumer data
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Solid background in Information Technology with demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technology and business process \\
- Ability to communicate proactively and effectively with IT and business stakeholders
- Positive, customer-focused, energetic attitude, and good interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technology areas (Strong learning agility)
- Agile development experience
- Data Modeler/Data Engineering experience
- Experience/knowledge of Lilly Sales & Marketing Business processes and the systems that support these processes
- Ability to act as change agent and to take ownership of issues or opportunities until a proper solution is implemented
- Experience in cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure
- Experience with analytics and business intelligence / data visualization solutions such as Tableau or PowerBI
- Familiarity with the technical architecture associated with databases and analytics environments and experience in SQL and/or Python
- Knowledge of Agile delivery methodology - SAFe preferred
- Experience in a regulated industry - pharmaceutical preferred
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts such as NLP/NLG and predictive/prescriptive modeling
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related technical field
- Minimum of 2 years post education IT experience in Data Engineering
- Experience using Python or SQL and AWS or Azure
