IT iOS Software Engineer

• As an iOS developer, you will bring your technical experience to design and build iOS applications for Apple mobile platforms that exceed product goals.
• With an approach that accepts failure, and ability to work in ambiguity, you will use your object-oriented development principles in Swift to reach creative project solutions to deliver on time.
• By maximizing your development experience, you will ensure the applications achieve the optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness.
• Using your problem-solving skills, you will strive to quickly identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs for optimal user experience.
• With an attention to detail and proactivity you will seek to maintain existing IOS applications via debugging and continuous updates, ensuring code quality, organization, and automation.
• As a superb communicator with strong interpersonal skills, you will work and collaborate effectively on a team including with remote team members, to define, design and ship new features.
• With a high level of curiosity, you will conduct external research and innovation to evolve existing and create new solutions.

• Proficiency with Object Oriented Programming, multi-threading, data serialization and REST APIs.
• Familiarity with MVVM and other architectural patterns.
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and application performance tuning.
• Experience with Swinject or other methods for dependency injection.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect IOS applications to back-end services.
• Understanding of Apples design principles and interface guidelines.
• Demonstrated ability to write, perform, or automate unit tests.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools and continuous integration (CI/CD).
• Consistent track record of using Agile software development concepts and associated implementations as demonstrated in a fleshed-out portfolio of software development projects.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related technical field OR
• High School Diploma/GED with 7+ years of experience in IT technical roles
• 5+ years of experience in mobile app development
• Swift and Objective-C programming experience
• Professional experience in delivering software solutions that span the development life cycle; i.e., project initiation, design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, support, and retirement
