The responsibilities for the position include the following items:Work with the engineering department team to complete the following projects, as directed by the department manager:New Construction (Residential, Agricultural, Commercial, etc.)Service Upgrades (Residential, Agricultural, Commercial, etc.)Service RelocationsConstruction Work Plan ProjectsPole Inspection/Replacement ProgramService RetirementsMiscellaneous Engineering ProjectsEngineering Analysis (Software)GIS/GPSDraftingInvolvement in the work order process to complete engineering related projects to include:Communications (Internal/External)Preliminary DesignEstimatingField StakingAs-Builts/GPSCollaborate with other departments to complete projects efficientlyDevelop knowledge of department procedures and company policies associated with engineering projects to improve member supportDevelop technical knowledge related to engineering department functions through training providedWork breakdown is approximately 50% Office/Paperwork and 50% Field Work
