The Bulk Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of cement powder and other related products in both rural and urban environments in all weather conditions.Here is some insight into what your day-to-day will entail:Drive company-owned trucks in a professional manner to transport and deliver products or other materialsOperate equipment, such as truck cab computers, CB radios, and telephones to exchange necessary information with dispatch, supervisors, or other driversPre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicle and trailer to ensure safety as a priorityCompletes daily DOT pre-trip inspections and required logs. Submits and verifies accuracy of all documentation.Responsible for the cleanliness, upkeep, and routine maintenance checks of assigned vehicle. Reports issues, accidents, and damage to the leadership team.Maintains and submits all trip-related receipts and expenses.Obtains and maintains accurate delivery authorization and pickup documentation. Verifies shipment documents such as load tickets, bills of lading and work orders.Drive trucks to weigh stations when appropriate along routes to document weights and to comply with state regulationsOccasional flat bed deliveries when availableDeliveryManeuver trucks into loading or unloading positions, following signals from loading crewCheck all load-related documentation to ensure that it is complete and accurateObtain receipts or signatures for delivered goods and collect payment for services when required
