Job Title: MachinistJob DescriptionThis machinist role involves taking parts produced on highly productive Mazak lathes and moving them to a lathe with less current production. You will need to be familiar with G code or Mazak controls and capable of making minor edits to the programs. Responsibilities include loading material into the machine and running production on it. Production schedules can range from 6-12 parts to over 100 parts, with completion times varying from 2 days or more. You need to maintain a tolerance of +/- .002 and ideally have your own quality tools (micrometers and calipers). Basic math skills with decimals and fractions are essential. Occasionally, you may also need to use a Bridgeport machine.Hard Skills
