Summary:  The Maintenance Mechanic will service equipment. This role performs repairs, corrections, replacement, inspections, documents, and files accordingly and reports back to Maintenance Supervisor.            Duties and Responsibilities:Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment; primarily loaders, shears, grapple, skid steers, forklifts, tractor/trailer, shredder.Perform daily preventive maintenance on equipment as requiredFollow the dress code and compliance of proper PPE at all timesWork independently in the absence of direct supervisionPrepare all necessary documentation [Bill of Ladings, Work Orders, Purchase Orders, Tool Orders]Conveyor systems, hydraulic systems, PLC’sWelding, grinding, weld set-up, and torchingSet up and break down machineryTransportation maintenance
