Maintenance Technician (Nights)

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the repair and upkeep of equipment and facility. Activities include both planned and predictive maintenance and breakdown repair.Shift: 6P-6A, 2-2-3 rotationStarting rate: $31.00/hr plus $2/hr shift differentialKey Responsibilities:Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose and repair malfunctions in machinery, electrical systems, and building infrastructure. This includes mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on all equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.Installation: Install new equipment and systems, including machinery, electrical wiring, and conduit.Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve quality.Safety and Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA regulations.Documentation: Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and parts orders.Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to achieve department and site goals.Communication: Effectively communicate with engineers, production staff, and contractors.Problem Solving: Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.Facilities Maintenance: Perform general building maintenance tasks, such as painting, plumbing repairs, and groundskeeping.
