​TheMaterial Handler - Presswill receive, count, move and stage materials for production jobs as noted on job tickets and schedules in a safe, timely and efficient manner. Track material usage in hard copy and electronic database. Participate in cycle counts of inventory and yearly physical inventory.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

- Working closely with all departments to ensure products are received in and delivered accurately to production jobs in a timely manner.

- Following all standard operations procedures, work instructions, and current GMPs

- Opening and preparing loads for production.

- Aerating loads for production.

- Communicating effectively with operators.

- Following all safety rules.

- Assisting with timely and accurate period cycle count.

- Assisting with the complete annual physical inventory process.

- Assisting with the resolution inventory discrepancies.

- Delivering materials to appropriate jobs per job tickets and the schedule; moving and staging materials as needed.

- Managing time effectively.

- Performing other job duties as assigned.

Schedule

Shift start: 7:30AM or 7:30PM Shift length: Day Shift: 7:30AM to 7:30PM or Night Shift: 7:30PM to 7:30AM

Qualifications
MUST BE AVAILABLE to work a rotating shift

Must have a minimum of 1 year forklift operation experience.

Must have, or be able to obtain, a valid forklift license/certification.

Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.

Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals

Able to perform basic math.

Able to maintain good attendance

Willing to work overtime as needed
