The Nursing Services Manager is responsible for the Wellness Coordination program as well as supervising and managing nursing operations in a select area.  This position develops and monitors the oversight of medical policies and procedures used within Dungarvin and ensures they meet all licensing requirements. The Nursing Services Manager will assure that each individual receives quality, individualized health care management resulting in optimal health.WHAT YOU GET TO DO:Program Development & Growth: Develop, manage, and grow Wellness Coordination services to support strong clinical outcomes and continued program success.Nursing Leadership: Effectively supervise, support, and manage nursing staff while promoting accountability, consistency, and professional development.Wellness Assessments & Care Planning: Ensure the completion and/or review of the Wellness Assessment, Risk Mitigation Tool, and Wellness Plan for each individual receiving Wellness Coordination services.Required Visits & Documentation: Ensure face-to-face visits are completed and documented in accordance with the DDRS Wellness Coordination Guide.Mission-Driven Leadership: Provide leadership and direction that supports the organization’s mission, policies, procedures, and standards of care.Quality of Care: Promote consistency and quality in healthcare services provided to individuals supported by Dungarvin.Clinical Consultation & Support: Serve as a resource to Area Directors, Program Directors, and nursing staff regarding medical concerns, healthcare practices, and applicable rules and regulations.New Consumer Support: Partner with Area Directors and Program Directors to determine appropriate nursing services and healthcare supports for new individuals entering services.New Program Development: Assist with establishing healthcare systems, processes, and nursing supports for new programs.Clinical Oversight: Provide nursing oversight to individuals supported by Dungarvin and help ensure their healthcare needs are appropriately addressed.Compliance & Documentation: Ensure healthcare services and related documentation meet licensure requirements, organizational policies, and the individualized needs of the people supported.
