Patient Registration Representative - Start ASAP

Aston Carter is hiring for Patient Registration Reps for a large hospital in Indianapolis$16/hr // Contract-to-Hire // Different shifts availableDescription:

Facilitates patient flow from point of entry to destination in a timely, accurate, and professional manner

Checks in patients coming through the front door of the ER

Collects ID's & insurance cards

Sometimes will need to come from behind the desk to help a patient

Work with security and hospital police to ensure safety and compliance of patients

Welcomes family and friends and note in system if they are there

Interviews patient/patient representative to confirm demographic, financial and clinical information

Performs insurance eligibility verification for specific services

Maintains customer focus during phone conversations

Greets patients and business partners with professionalism and courteousness

Facilitates copay collection conversations with patients

Requirements :

2+ years of customer service

Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with patients, peers and superiors on a daily basis

Computer skills - very comfortable with technology
