Job Title: Plant OperatorJob DescriptionAs a Plant Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring customer orders are accurately filled and dispatched in a timely manner. Your duties will include general cleaning of the plant, washing hoses, large totes, drums, and disposing of drums. You will work under the direction of the shift manager to fill orders, stage them at the dock, and load trucks. Additionally, you will clean and maintain equipment, and complete necessary paperwork related to process conditions, test results, instrument readings, and shipping. Secondary duties involve cleaning used totes and drums in the lot to manage the increased order volume and backlog.Hard Skills

Job TypeThis is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 20 Week(s).Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Camby, Indiana.Work EnvironmentThe work environment includes 1st shift (4am-12pm) and 2nd shift (12pm-8pm, sometimes extending to 8:30pm). Overtime is not mandatory and there is no weekend work, though some employees choose to work overtime to manage workload. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required includes a bump cap, safety glasses, gloves, respirators in some areas, and a 'chemical suit' which can add 10-15 degrees of heat. The facility is temperature-controlled to an extent but can still be warm, especially in summer.
