Job Title: Process TechnicianJob DescriptionThis position is based in an injection molding facility that produces plastic buckets and lids. The Process Technician, also known as a Team Lead, will be responsible for maintaining their designated injection molding area, which consists of 4-6 machines. Primary duties include troubleshooting, making adjustments to the production lines, starting up and shutting down the lines, and providing leadership to machine operators. The goal is to ensure production quotas are met efficiently and effectively.Responsibilities
Maintain and operate 4-6 injection molding machines.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during production.
Adjust machine settings, including speed, feed, and temperature.
Start up and shut down production lines as needed.
Assign tasks to machine operators and provide leadership within the cell.
Ensure production quotas are met and document quality, adjustments, and production goals.
Conduct visual quality inspections and perform preventative maintenance.
Essential Skills
2+ years of plastic processing experience.
Experience with documentation related to quality, adjustments/changes, and production goals.
Visual quality inspection experience.
Experience in starting up and shutting down machines.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Leadership or team lead experience.
Experience in injection molding.
Preventative maintenance experience.
Mechanical aptitude, such as working on cars.
