Production Operator

Production Associates Needed!Location: Crothersville, INShift: 1st (6AM-6PM) or 3rd (6PM-6AM) on a rotating schedule (2days on, 2days off, 3 days on)Description:Packaging Operators:This is the department that most employees start. In this department candidates will take larger spools of product and make them into smaller spools that are wrapped and packaged into individual boxes. Candidates will start by loading the packaging machine with the large spool of wire. Once the product is loaded the candidates will load the machine with material and ensure that the machine is operating correctly. This machine will take the material and cut at the length specified by the job order and begin to make smaller spools of product. Candidates will need to visually inspect the product and make sure each spool is the correct size. Once the product is made into smaller spools it is then wrapped with a plastic covering to protect to spool. When the product is finished being wrapped candidates will take the small spools and individually package into cardboard boxes and seal the boxes. When the boxes are sealed they will place them onto a pallet until the pallet is full. Once the pallet is full the forklift operators will come and take the pallets to the distribution center.Additional Skills & Qualifications:MUST HAVES:Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work instructions

Basic troubleshooting/mechanical aptitude

production/manufacturing experience is preferred

Basic math and computer skills

Ability to lift/move up to 50lbs

Ability to stand on feet for entire shift
