As a Production Technician, you will be responsible for various tasks throughout the year, ensuring the efficient processing, storage, and shipment of agricultural products.
This position demands physical endurance, attention to detail, and the ability to perform repetitive tasks under varying seasonal conditions.
Responsibilities
Operate dryers to dry crops within prescribed safety, quality, and financial requirements.
Essential Skills
Ability to lift 50-60 lbs.
Capability to perform repetitive tasks and endure long periods of sitting and standing.
Ability to climb stairs and differentiate/see colors.
Proficiency in speaking and reading English.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Forklift experience (sitting type) is preferred, with training provided.

Work Environment
This position is in an agricultural setting where employees should expect exposure to corn and insecticide dust.
The work environment can be physically demanding, requiring standing for 12-hour shifts, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 60 lbs.
Employees will work in shifts, including potential 12-hour days, and a rotation schedule that includes weekend work.
The facility operates 24/7 during peak seasons to ensure the timely processing and packaging of products.
