- Review contract documents to ensure all quality requirements are met throughout the manufacturing process.
- Support inspection personnel and develop inspection technique documentation.
- Perform technical reviews of manufacturing plans and quality assurance records.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to resolve quality issues.
- Assist in the development and implementation of inspection plans.
- Perform shop floor surveillance and oversight to assure compliance to internal procedures and customer standards.
- Perform analysis of quality data to identify and implement improvement plans.
- Participate in cause and corrective action identification and resolution.
- A Bachelor's degree in a Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other related engineering or technical discipline is preferred. Equivalent experience may be substituted.
- Must have a minimum of 4 years of related experience.
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret drawings and contract documents to identify quality requirements.
- Prior work with and knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials.
- General knowledge of project engineering activities (task plans, schedules, etc.).
- Hands-on manufacturing experience for industrial equipment and familiarity with both traditional and advanced manufacturing methods.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to effectively prepare and deliver technical reports and presentations.
- US citizenship with no dual citizenship.
