Manpower Engineering is looking for an organized, process-driven Quality Control and Quality Assurance Manager to join our client’s dynamic team at their site NW of Indianapolis, IN.Summary:This job will allow you to be a pinnacle part of the company’s growth and development. The Quality Control and Assurance Manager is responsible for ensuring that all aviation maintenance and manufacturing activities comply with regulatory standards and company policies. This role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining quality control and assurance policies and procedures, conducting site surveys, and contributing to overall company policy development to ensure safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance within the aviation industry. Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field; or proven experience via military service or previous employment. Advanced certification or relevant postgraduate education is a plus
Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control and assurance within the aviation, transportation, or manufacturing industry, with a focus on maintenance and manufacturing.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Proficient in using quality management software and tools.
What are some preferred qualifications:
Military and commercial aviation experience preferred
In-depth understanding of aviation regulations, quality management standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100), and safety management systems (SMS).
Professional certifications such as ASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), or equivalent are preferred.
