Position Summary:

Toyota Material Handling, Inc. is seeking a qualified candidate to join our Information Technology team as the RPA Architect. The RPA architect will be responsible for process mining, identifying RPA suitable customer business processes to architect, design and determine appropriate RPA frameworks /technology. RPA Architect will work as collaborator among various stake holders and solution provider for customers RPA requirements. He should be able to access, fitment/feasibility check of the RPA solution. His responsibilities include customer communication, project/program management throughout the course of service delivery, and maintenance of all RPA service delivery artifacts.

Essential Position Duties:

  • Assess automation opportunity from technical perspective and provide solution
  • Anticipate, identify, track, and resolve technical issues and risks affecting delivery
  • Defining processes complexity for RPA with respect to existing RPA technology.
  • Determining RPA fitment/ technical feasibility for automation.
  • Performing / Validating estimations and plan of RPA projects.
  • Collate BOT details from the development teams (# of BOTs, execution window, # of transactions processed, success rate, execution time, idle time, maintenance window etc.)
  • Act as a liaison between business and technical resources
  • Validating Business Case and ROI which can be submitted for review and approvals
  • Identify opportunities to improve BOT utilization (new use cases, new scenarios in existing use case, scheduling etc.)
  • Identify opportunities to improve success rate (reduction in failures etc.)
  • Work closely with different departments and RPA development teams
  • Publish monthly metrics to business stakeholders

  • Ability to work independently, with limited supervision, whilst participating fully as a member of the RPA team
  • Effective Persuasive Communication including the ability to influence SMEs and business stakeholders toward change, automation and continuous improvement
  • Knowledge of RPA technologies and spectrum of best practices with process automation and operational excellence
  • Strong analytical skills, coupled with a logical, disciplined and structured approach to documentation and procedures
  • Excellent spoken and written communication. Assertive and confident raising action points with senior individuals
  • Experience of working on major projects
  • Experience/knowledge of a range of technical platforms and solutions
  • Work with individuals to understand and build detailed process maps and business requirements documents
  • Ability to rapidly grasp processes and identify potential RPA solutions
  • Integrate leading practices on process discovery & mapping into the day-to-day delivery of business requirements documents

Education & Skills/ Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in RPA and related technologies. Experience /Certifications of Various RPA platforms (UiPath, Blue Prism, Automate Anywhere)
  • Excellent collaboration skill to collaborate and manage various stake holders
  • Experience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions
  • Extensive experience in designing RPA solutions, architecting enterprise level applications involving multiple systems, sub-systems, and ERP applications
  • Experience with customer interaction and software development lifecycle, as well as Agile project management methodology
  • 2-5 years of experience supporting business process documentation with business owners and SMEs across multiple geographically disbursed teams
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong people-leader skills
