ERP Services is responsible for developing and maintaining our global Enterprise Resource Planning applications. SAP is Lilly's backbone for all books and records, global commerce and trade and our entire supply chain.We are seeking a professional who will serve as The SAP Basis Analyst. Responsibilities include configuring, monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting the SAP technical environment on an ongoing basis as well as scheduling and executing the SAP transport system to meet the information technology and business requirements for Lilly's SAP S/4 HANA cloud environment. Through collaboration across business process and technical teams you will design and develop efficient and durable system to system interfaces based on best practices to ensure desired business outcomes are achieved.Responsibilities:- Opportunity to become an expert in the SAP technology and the business processes it supports.
- Be forward thinking and innovative with respect to using various SAP technologies which will help improve the user experience.
- Be an advocate for SAP at global, regional, and local level to communicate standards and expectations.
- Lead, manage and participate in day-to-day operations, enhancements, and projects. This includes understanding business impact, quantifying resources, and evaluating/recommending technical options.
- Interact and collaborate with global, regional, and local Business Partners as appropriate, to better understand the business and its priorities and represent their requirements within the SAP landscape.
- Partner with the business in assessing and defining requirements and drive the development of business cases and system solutions.
- Experience providing SAP Basis administration in a Windows/SQL Server environment
- Experience working in a multi-tier, highly available landscape
- Proficient at capturing and analyzing Windows Event logs to troubleshoot system issues
- Ability to capture Windows Performance Monitor stats and analyze to troubleshoot and pinpoint system issues
- Moderate level of experience working with IIS and setting up SSO
- High level of experience working with database triggers
- High level of experience writing SQL queries and scripts to automate system activities as well as to troubleshoot system issues
- Deep knowledge of SQL Server best practices for the creation of a best of breed architecture
- Ability to effectively communicate with SQL Server DBAs
- Ability to effectively communicate with both IT functional resources and non-IT functional resources
- High level of comfort working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
- Proven ability to work independently
- High level of attention to detail to conform to quality practices
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science, management information systems, information technology or related technical field
- SAP BW on HANA.
- SAP HANA Platform Operations.
- SAP S4 HANA Implementation.
- Scripting experience with Tools such as Python,PowerShell, JAVA.
- Knowledge of SDLC.
- Hands-on experience on MySQL.
- Cloud concepts and understanding (SAP Cloud Platform)
- Experience working in a regulated industry (i.e., GMP) and delivering within that environment.
- Desire and ability to operate at multiple levels (detail and strategic).
- Excellent communication skills, using a variety of methods in diverse forums.
- Desire and ability to work independently with minimal direction.
- Demonstrated technical learning agility.
- Minimal US & OUS travel required (0-10%)
