SENIOR DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR (NSWCIT-2023-17999):Bowhead is seeking to network with a Senior Database Administrator to join our team for a potential opportunity at NSWC Crane, IN. This contract has not been awarded and is not currently funded but is expected to begin in 2023. The Senior Database Administrator will support the customer, employees and Bowhead interests in all day-to-day functions. They will be responsible for the Database team as well as ensuring the mission and Government customer's requests are met in a timely and accurate manner.ResponsibilitiesEssential functions will include:• Assisting with the analysis and definition of data requirements and specifications, design, normalize, develop, install and implement databases. • Maintain, monitor, tune, and perform backup and recovery of databases. • Will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining database management systems software, and analyzing and planning for anticipated changes in data capacity requirements. • Will develop and administer data standards, policies and procedures, and develop and implement data mining and data warehousing programs. • Evaluate and provide recommendations on new database technologies and architectures. • Experience with SQL, ORACLE and MySQL are required. • Other duties as assigned.Bowhead seeks to network with qualified individuals relative to a potential opportunity, which is contingent upon award and not currently funded. No solicitations or third party applications will be accepted.Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in a Computer Technology, Information Technology or related field is required • Five (5) years of full-time professional experience with the configuration, deployment, and operation and maintenance of Microsoft Desktop operating systems. • Must hold Cyber Security Workforce (CSWF) Baseline Qualifications for CSWF Specialty Area and Proficiency Level per Section 6.23.2 Cyber Security Workforce Qualifications. • Advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts • Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a teamPhysical Demands:- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds

- Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
