Key ResponsibilitiesPrecision Mechanical Work: Execute shaft-to-shaft alignments, timing and V-belt tensioning, and the teardown, rework, and assembly of complex gear reducers, bearings, and fasteners.Equipment Reliability: Establish mechanical inspection and preventive maintenance routes to maximize plant uptime.Diagnostic & Repair: Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair major and minor mechanical drive system failures across process, utility, and manufacturing equipment.Technical Mentorship: Act as a technical leader on shift, transferring knowledge to develop shift maintenance technicians through hands-on training and guidance.Documentation & Continuous Improvement: Create and update technical documentation, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Single Page Lessons, and red-line schematics.
