Position Summary:

Toyota Material Handling North America (TMHNA) is seeking an experienced Senior IT Manager to lead its development and implementation strategies, roadmap and digital transformation for the organization. The Senior Manager oversees IT Infrastructure and Dealer Systems Teams at our company and will be responsible to devise the IT Strategy to ensure the systems and solutions are in place to execute the organization goals. This individual collaborates and understands both business and Information Technology to implement the organization vision to enable the company achieve its goals and objectives. As the digital transformation continues for TMHNA, this position will be expected to build the teams in terms of processes, systems and resources.

Essential Position Duties:

Tasks:
  • Member of TMHNA Leadership Team, reporting to Chief Information Officer (CIO)
  • Explain complex IT solutions, programs and challenges to non-IT leaders
  • Manage multiple tasks while developing company's IT roadmap
  • Lead teams in executing the strategic plans; while at the same time managing day to day needs
  • Build, lead, and align high performance teams consisting of direct associates, matrixed associates, contractors, and consultants.
  • Operate as an IT architectural leader making hard to understand concepts understandable by individuals with varying knowledge levels of IT
  • Develop a culture of positivity and teamwork, transparency, customer service, strategic thinking, and high productivity
  • Consistently demonstrate professional, positive, and approachable attitude/demeanor and discretion.
  • Lead the organization on its journey to become more data driven
  • Build trust through high levels of integrity and accountability for self, and demand same of the teams
  • Identify the balance between management, strategy, technology and operation of a complex and always in demand departmentAdditional duties as assigned

Education & Experience:
  • Master's degree in Information Technology (or similar background)
  • Information Technology related positions - 10-12 years' experience
  • Managerial positions-3-5 years

Preferred Experience and Knowledge:
  • Experience with Dealer or Distributor networks and projects
  • Implementation of successful IT projects in the manufacturing industry (especially TPS / Lean manufacturing)
  • Experience in Industry 4.0, IoT
  • SAP (or other ERP) project leadership experience

Preferred Skillset:
  • Exceptional communication, writing and presentation skills
  • Ability to develop business case for technology investments
  • Strong leader of people, able to motivate others and build trust
  • Experience in analysis, implementation and evaluation of IT systems and their specifications
  • Strong understanding of IT systems, software, networks, etc.
  • IT solutions in manufacturing and distribution business SAP, Microsoft platforms

Primary environment: ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment.
