SENIOR NETWORK ENGINEER (NSWCIT-2023-18007):Bowhead is seeking to network with a Senior Network Engineer to join our team for a potential opportunity at NSWC Crane, IN. This contract has not been awarded and is not currently funded but is expected to begin in 2023. The Senior Network Engineer will support the customer, employees and Bowhead interests in all day-to-day functions. They will be responsible for the Network Engineering team as well as ensuring the mission and Government customer's requests are met in a timely and accurate manner.ResponsibilitiesEssential functions will include:• Providing network/systems management to support data management, certification management, network administration rights, and network support related to secured and un-secured communication operating systems. • Assisting in specification development and planning for office hardware/software systems. • Must possess expert knowledge in all required applications to perform contract scope. • Other duties as assigned.Bowhead seeks to network with qualified individuals relative to a potential opportunity, which is contingent upon award and not currently funded. No solicitations or third party applications will be accepted.Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in a Computer Technology, Information Technology or related field is required • Must hold a valid Cisco Certified Network Professional (CNP) certification • Must have at least two (2+) years of experience in a professional environment with Cisco Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) • Additionally, at least five (5) years of professional experience in design, implementation and operation of a geographically dispersed network is required • Must have prior demonstrable experience of at least two (2+) years in designing, implementing and operating a network infrastructure to a Cloud environment • Advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts • Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a teamPhysical Demands:- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
