What You'll Contribute

You will use your declarative and custom development skills as member of one of our scrum teams to manage and enhance our Salesforce solutions that use Service Cloud, Financial Services Cloud, Experience Cloud, Chat and several integrations. You may also be asked to investigate how certain platform capabilities can help empower our business to achieve their business imperatives. The features and stories you deliver have a direct impact on our ability to achieve our business objectives for a given release and deliver value for our customers.

Salesforce Developers will be placed on one of our agile scrum teams within a specified release train. This position will report to the Senior Manager of Salesforce Development.

This role is open to remote or hybrid work

What You'll Do
  • Delivers application development to fulfill business requirements to enhance the Salesforce platform using Apex, Lightning Components (Aura and LWC), Visualforce & Lightning pages, and configurative and declarative development using Flow/Custom Metadata / etc. You will also work to integrate 3rd party applications such as Amazon Connect, Live Vox, or other applications as necessary.
  • Tests and debugs unit and systems, and contributes to technical documentation.
  • Troubleshoots production issues and implement fixes.
  • Continually improves craft as a Salesforce Developer by learning and leveraging the latest design patterns, principles, and technology.

What You Have

Minimum: Indicate minimum education, skills and experience required.
  • Bachelor's Degree Information Technology/Computer Technology or related field, or equivalent work.
  • 6+ Years overall development experience with a good foundation in OOP.
  • 2+ Years hands on Salesforce development experience on mid to large enterprise implementations.
  • Good product knowledge of Sales, Service and Experience Clouds.
  • Proficiency with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (Aura and LWC), SOQL.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SOAP and REST web services.
  • Proficiency with modern IDEs (VSCode, IntelliJ) and SCM tools (Git, SVN).
  • Experience with relational databases, data modeling, and SQL.
  • Proficiency with Agile, Scrum, or other iterative development methodologies.
  • Ability and desire to learn new technologies and development tools.
  • Desire to work in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment as part of a team of like-minded developers.
Preferred: Indicate "nice to haves" regarding education, skills, and experience.
  • One or more Salesforce certifications: Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I, Salesforce Certified App Builder, Salesforce Certified JavaScript Developer I, Salesforce Certified Administrator.
  • Experience with test driven development (TDD).
  • Ability to write code/script using Python, or C#.
  • Salesforce Unit and Automated Testing experience using JEST and Robot frameworks.
  • Experience with Salesforce data tools such as Data Loader.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and the Salesforce CLI (SFDX).
  • Experience with Python.
  • Familiarity with developing on other cloud platforms, such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services.
  • Experience with CMS systems such as Adobe Experience Manager.
