Simulation Engineer

We want to add an experienced Modeling and Simulation Engineer to a long-term role with a project team at a well-known company in the agricultural and construction industry. This position will be on the front line of new product development for hybrid and electric off-road equipment. It will come with a comprehensive benefits package, PTO, and holidays. Role and Responsibilities Lead the development of a parametric and multiphysics inverters and electrical machines models to use in Virtual Vehicle Simulations. Develop Models for Model Based Design of Electrification Control Algorithms Use High Fidelity Models to create surrogate models Design test plans for model development, and use test data for model correlation. Perform drive cycle simulations to identify design constraints Virtual Validation of system requirements Analyze dynamic performance and stability, as well as system losses. Provide Reports Maintain documentation Maintain and improve libraries, models, and projects Develop Modelling and Simulation Tools Skills : Matlab simulink,Simscape,Model based software development,Electrical systems Top Skills Details : matlab simulink,Simscape,Model based software development,Electrical systems Additional Skills & Qualifications : Soft Skills Self-motivated, initiative, and drive Communication Excellent Problem solving Adaptability Attention to detail Qualifications Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or physics. Focus on Power Electronics is desired. Individual contributor level experience (either professionally or academically) in relevant field MATLAB, Simulink, Simscape o Simscape is a must Knowledge of Model Based Software Development Knowledge of Electrical Systems, Power Electronics and semiconductors, Electrical Machines, and control.
